Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Pay Rate: $25–$27/hour

Reports to:  Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Intermediate Accounting Specialist to join our growing finance team. This position is ideal for someone who has a few years of hands-on accounting experience—particularly with bank reconciliations—at a mid-sized or large company. The right candidate will play a key role in daily accounting operations while working independently on-site, collaborating remotely with leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations

• Assist with general ledger maintenance and journal entries

• Support month-end close activities

• Help manage cash flow tracking and reporting

• Process and track transactions in accounting systems

• Coordinate with internal departments for documentation and variance resolution

• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

• Communicate regularly with the remote Senior Accounting Manager

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a mid-sized or large organization

• Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and general accounting principles

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)

• Ability to work independently and maintain strong communication with remote managers

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
